I was born and raised in Valparaíso. I am the seventh of nine siblings and I have a ten year- old son, he is the fourteenth grand-child in my family. Having a large family has helped me to have a broad view about how communication impacts different generations, and also, provokes diverse interpretations of the same message. All of this caught my attention at a young age.
In 2013, I started my career in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My first agency was Kepel & Mata, I was there for six months working for Clarín, Volkswagen and Heineken. After, I was contacted by The Community and I was given the opportunity to work with regional brands such as MTV, Rolling Stones and TCC.
After, I moved to Santiago, Chile, where I worked in 10:10 and in Prolam Y&R. This was a transitional stage in my career; I left the independent agencies to discover and learn about the world of network agencies. After some time working in Chile, I was given the opportunity to work abroad again, this time in Colombia, where I worked in Ogilvy & Mather, Bogotá. I worked for regional campaigns and I won my first awards in the industry.
When I returned to Chile I entered J. Walter Thompson, where I met my current creative partner, Rodrigo Saravia. Together we won the Young Lions Cyber competition in Chile. After a year full of work and awards, we were the first creative team in the opening of RGA Santiago, where we won important regional accounts. After this I worked as a DC in Wolf BCPP and in 2019 we won the first Lion for the agency with ‘The Memory Dial’. During this year I was recognized by ACHAP as the best copywriter in the industry in Chile.
In 2020, I started a new challenge as Creative Director. Together with my partner Rodrigo Saravia, we opened an office in Draft Line Chile, an internal agency for AB inBev.
